ความสนใจและแนวทางงานวิจัย

"การตรวจวัดคุณภาพและสมบัติต่างๆที่เกี่ยวข้องกับกระบวนการผลิตผลผลิตเกษตร ชีวมวลและอาหารตั้งแต่วัตถุดิบ ระหว่างการผลิต จนเป็นผลิตผลหรือผลิตภัณฑ์เป็นเรื่องที่น่าสนใจและมีประโยชน์ต่อการควบคุมคุณภาพและการควบคุมกระบวนการ การตรวจวัดโดยวิธีการไม่ทำลาย ที่แม่นยำ รวดเร็ว ไม่ต้องใช้สารเคมี เป็นมิตรกับสิ่งแวดล้อม และ/หรือสามารถติดตั้งในสายการผลิตและควบคุมด้วยระบบคอมพิวเตอร์เป็นความต้องการในอุตสาหกรรมในปัจจุบันและในอนาคต เทคนิคเนียร์อินฟราเรดสเปกโทรสโกปีเป็นเทคนิคหนึ่งที่น่าสนใจและมีศักยภาพที่ชัดเจนที่จะตอบสนองความต้องการดังกล่าว กลุ่มงานวิจัย (www.nirsresearch.com) มีเป้าหมายเพื่อประยุกต์ใช้เทคนิคนี้สำหรับ ภาคเกษตรกรรม โรงงานอุตสาหกรรมเกษตรและอาหารในประเทศไทยเพื่อเป็นการลดต้นทุนการตรวจสอบคุณภาพและควบคุมคุณภาพของวัตถุดิบ ระหว่างการผลิต และผลิตภัณฑ์ และควบคุมกระบวนการผลิต ของไร่นาและโรงงานที่มีผลกระทบสูงต่อเศรษฐกิจของประเทศ"

Evaluation of commercial quality parameters of concentrated Para rubber latex by near infrared spectroscopy. (adviser for 2 master students).

Determination of sweetness and lycopene content of water melon by near infrared spectroscopy  (adviser for a master student).
